Girls’ Floral Fake Two-Piece Knit Top
Girls’ floral knit top with a fake two-piece look: a double-layer ruffle collar and a hollow-out lace hem do the work of a layered outfit, so she gets the sweet, retro layering with one garment. The body is a fine rib knit, which gives a printed top depth and helps it keep its shape; the print is a small, dense floral in soft tones that reads as texture. Single-layer ruffle cuffs give a soft wave at the wrist without getting in the way. It pairs easily with a plain A-line skirt, wide-leg trousers or denim, and it washes by hand or on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, dried flat. Sizes 2T–12Y. MOQ 100 pieces, sampling 7–10 working days, bulk 25–40 days.
Girls’ Korean-Style Floral Knit Top with Double Ruffle Collar — Every Detail, How to Wear It, and How to Wash It
Why this top
Some tops are a single idea: one colour, one silhouette, done. This one is not. It is a Korean-style floral knit top that puts several details into one garment — a fine double-layer ruffle collar, a ribbed knit texture, a small floral print, single-layer ruffled cuffs and a hollow-out embroidered lace hem — and the result is a piece that looks like you styled it, even though you just put it on.
It is also a “fake two-piece”: the collar and the hem do the work of a layered outfit, so she gets the sweet, retro, layered look without the bulk of two garments, and without the morning negotiation that comes with layering a shirt under a jumper.
The details, one by one
The double ruffle collar. The neckline is finished with a fine ruffle in two layers, which gives it a soft, natural build-up rather than a single flat frill. Two layers hold their shape better: the collar sits up around the neck instead of collapsing, and the layering reads clearly in photographs. The ruffle is stitched down along its full length so it does not curl or flop after washing.

The ribbed knit texture. The body is knitted in a fine rib, which gives the surface a subtle vertical texture. This matters for two reasons. First, it stops a printed top from looking flat — the rib catches the light and gives the floral print depth. Second, it helps the top keep its shape: rib knit has natural stretch and recovery, so the top does not stretch out at the shoulder or bag at the hem.
The small floral print. The print is a small, dense floral in soft tones, spaced so that it reads as texture rather than as one big motif. Small prints are the ones that age best on children’s clothing: they look delicate up close and calm from a distance, and they do not date the way a large graphic does.
Single-layer ruffled cuffs. The cuffs are finished with a single soft ruffle, which gives a gentle wave at the wrist without adding bulk. Single-layer is the right choice here: a double ruffle at the cuff would fight the volume of the collar, and would get in the way when she eats or draws. The wave sits away from the hand so it does not dip into anything.
Hollow-out embroidered lace hem. The hem is finished with a hollow-out embroidered lace border in a floral pattern. This is the detail that lifts the top: the openwork adds a fine, delicate edge, and it makes the bottom of the garment as considered as the top. The lace is attached with a flat seam so the edge does not scratch.

The fake two-piece effect
Because the collar is layered and the hem is trimmed, the top already looks like two pieces worn together — a frilled blouse under a knit. That is the whole point of the design: you get the sweet, layered, vintage look with one garment. It also means less bulk under a coat, fewer layers to wash, and no shirt tails coming untucked during the school day.
Three ways to wear it — and where she can wear each one
Look 1 — Sweet and school-ready. Pair it with a plain A-line skirt in a neutral colour (navy, black, brown or cream) and plain tights or knee socks. Because the top already carries the print, the ruffle and the lace, the skirt should stay simple — the eye needs somewhere to rest. Add a cardigan or a light coat over the top in cooler weather. Occasions: school, family gatherings, birthday parties, school photos.
Look 2 — Weekend vintage. Pair it with wide-leg or straight-leg trousers in a muted colour, or with denim dungarees. Wide trousers in a soft tone make the top look more casual and more modern, and they balance the volume of the collar. Add trainers and a canvas tote. Occasions: weekends, shopping, days out, visiting grandparents, travel.
Look 3 — Party and celebration. Pair it with a lace-trimmed skirt or a tulle skirt in a matching tone, plus a slim ribbon in the hair. Because the top has its own lace hem, a skirt with a fine trim makes the whole outfit look deliberate rather than accidental. Occasions: birthday parties, weddings, holiday photos, New Year, family celebrations.
A note on layering underneath. The knit is soft, but the floral print and the lace hem are the focus, so wear a plain vest or a plain cotton T-shirt underneath rather than a printed one. If the top is worn in cooler weather, put the layer over, not under — a cardigan or a light jacket keeps the collar and the hem visible.

Washing — how to keep it looking new
Read this once and the top will look the same in six months as it does now. The set of rules is short, but each one matters for this particular garment, because the fine ruffle, the rib knit and the lace hem all react to heat and to friction.
Everyday washing. Hand wash in cool water, or machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C with the top inside a laundry mesh bag. The bag is not optional if you machine wash: the ruffle and the lace hem are the two parts most likely to catch, stretch or snag against zips and buttons in the drum.
Detergent. Use a mild liquid detergent. Do not use bleach, and do not use a detergent with a strong optical brightener, because it dulls the lace and flattens the rib over time.
Spin and drying. Do not wring or twist the top — squeeze the water out gently, then lay it flat to dry on a towel, reshaping the ruffle and the hem with your hands while it is still damp. Do not hang it by the shoulders when it is wet; wet knit stretches under its own weight. Keep it out of direct sun on very bright days, and do not tumble dry — heat is what makes knitwear shrink and the lace go limp.

Ironing. Iron on the reverse at low temperature, or use steam a few centimetres away from the fabric. Do not press the iron directly onto the ruffle, the lace hem or the print: heat flattens the frill and can mark the print. If the ruffle looks crushed after washing, mist it lightly and reshape it with your fingers, then let it dry flat.
By variant. On the lighter colourways, wash separately for the first two washes so no colour transfers into the ground. On the darker colourways, turn the top inside out before washing, which keeps the surface from rubbing and helps the print stay sharp. In every colourway, wash with similar colours, and use cool water — the darker the fabric, the more it benefits from a low temperature.
Storing it. Fold rather than hang, so the shoulders keep their shape and the ruffle is not pulled out of line. If it is stored for a season, put it in a breathable cotton bag rather than a sealed plastic one.
Sizing
Choose by height rather than by age, because the same age can mean very different heights. The size guide lists the recommended height next to each size and gives chest, waist, body length and sleeve length in both centimetres and inches. The top runs from [2T to 12Y], or [90–160 cm]. The fit is regular with a little stretch, so there is no need to size up; if she is between sizes and you prefer a roomier fit, take the larger one — the rib knit keeps the shoulder line looking tidy either way.
Questions parents usually ask
Is the ruffle scratchy at the neck? No. The ruffle is stitched flat and the seam behind it is covered, so nothing rubs against the neck.
Will the lace hem curl? It is attached with a flat seam and pressed flat, and it holds its shape if you dry it flat rather than hanging it wet.
Can she wear it in summer? It is a knit, so it works for spring and autumn and for cool summer evenings; in the height of summer, choose a lighter cotton top.
Does it need ironing? No, not for everyday wear. If you want a crisper finish, press the body on the reverse only.

For buyers
