It washes and dries without losing colour or shape. Sizes S–XXL. MOQ 100 pieces, sampling 7–10 working days, bulk 25–40 days.

Women’s Long-Sleeve Cotton Cardigan Lounge Set — Everything You Want to Know

So, what exactly am I getting?

A long-sleeve cardigan top and matching pants, in one set. The top buttons up the front with small heart-shaped buttons and has a soft ruffle along the neckline, placket and cuffs. The pants have two pockets and an elastic waist. It comes in a soft grey that works with almost everything, and it is made from Xinjiang long-staple cotton with a little stretch, so it feels soft like your favourite T-shirt but keeps its shape like something much more expensive.

What does the fabric actually feel like?

92% cotton, 8% spandex — and the cotton is Xinjiang long-staple cotton, which has longer fibres than ordinary cotton. Longer fibres mean the surface is smoother and softer against your skin, the fabric is stronger and more abrasion-resistant, and it pills less because fewer short fibres work their way out of the yarn. The 8% spandex is what makes it comfortable rather than just soft: it gives a gentle stretch so the top moves with your shoulders and the pants stretch when you sit and spring back when you stand.

Will it go baggy at the knees and elbows?

No, and that is exactly what the spandex is for. Cotton alone relaxes with wear; adding 8% spandex gives the fabric stretch and recovery, so it moves with you and then returns to its shape. That means no baggy knees, no stretched elbows, and no waistband that gives up after a month. It is stretchy without being clingy — the balance that makes loungewear wearable all day rather than for an hour.

What temperature is it for?

Around 18–25°C. That is the awkward range where a T-shirt is too cool and a heavy sweatshirt is too warm. Long sleeves keep the chill off your arms, the cotton lets your skin breathe, and the light weight means you can wear it in a heated room without feeling stifled. It is the set for the last warm evenings of September, the first cold mornings of November, and every in-between day.

Are the buttons just decorative?

They are real buttons, and they are functional — you can wear the top closed like a light cardigan or open over a vest when the room warms up. They are small and heart-shaped, which is a detail you notice when you put it on and your friend notices when she borrows it. Each one is stitched with a lock stitch and pull-tested before the order ships, because a button that comes off is the fastest way for a nice set to look cheap.

What is the ruffle like, and will it flop after washing?

It is a soft ruffle — subtle, not frilly. The neckline, the placket and the cuffs are all finished with it, which is what makes the set look like loungewear rather than pyjamas: the ruffle softens the line of the garment, so it looks pretty enough for a video call and comfortable enough for a nap. It is stitched down along its whole length and pressed flat rather than tacked at a few points, because a ruffle that is only loosely attached curls and droops after two washes. That is the detail that decides whether it still looks good in six months.

Do the pockets actually hold anything?

Yes — they are properly sized, not decorative. Two pockets, set symmetrically on the hips, deep enough for a phone, a tissue, a hairband, or the key you keep putting down and losing. They are cut and stitched so they sit flat rather than gaping open, and the pocket corners are reinforced, because a pocket that tears after a month is worse than no pocket at all.

Does the waistband twist or dig in?

Neither. It is elasticated and covered in fabric, so nothing rough touches your skin, and the elastic is anchored at the side seams so it cannot travel or roll inside the channel — the reason a waistband ends up twisted and lumpy. It is deep enough to hold its shape after washing instead of folding over, and it is the kind of waist you forget you are wearing, which is the highest compliment a pair of lounge pants can get.

What about the stitching? I’ve had sets fall apart before.

Turn it inside out and you will see the answer. The stitching runs evenly and closely along the seams, the placket and the ruffled edges; the seam allowances are finished so nothing rubs against your skin; and the thread ends are trimmed and secured rather than left to work loose. The top is shaped to sit smoothly over the shoulders and the pants are cut so the waistband and side seams lie flat. That is why the set feels fitted and relaxed at the same time, and why it holds up to repeated wearing instead of slowly coming apart.

Will it survive washing and drying?

Yes, and it is built for it, because cotton loungewear lives in the wash. It keeps its colour, its shape and its softness after repeated washing, and the fabric is stable enough to be dried in the sun without fading quickly or going stiff. A few habits will keep it looking new: wash inside out with similar colours at a low temperature, skip the bleach, dry it flat or hang it in the shade on very bright days, and press lightly on the reverse if you want a crisp finish. The ruffle and the buttons are checked after washing before bulk production, so what you receive behaves the way the care label says.

How do I choose a size?

Choose your normal size. The top has a relaxed body with room across the shoulders and is designed to be worn over a vest or T-shirt, so there is no need to size up. The pants are true to size with an elasticated waist, so if you are between two sizes, take the smaller one for a neater fit or the larger one if you prefer a looser leg. The set runs from [S–XXL], and the size guide lists chest, waist, hip, body length and inseam in both centimetres and inches, with the waist shown relaxed and stretched so you can see how much room the elastic gives you.

What colours can I get, and does it make a good gift?

The sample is a soft grey that suits most interiors and most wardrobes — it does not ask the wearer to have a particular style, which is exactly what makes it easy to give. The same set can be produced in ivory, dusty blue, sage, camel or black, and the colour is checked against your reference before cutting so repeat orders match.

I’m buying for a shop — what are the minimums?

For buyers: 100 pieces per colourway, mixed sizes accepted in one order. Sampling takes 7–10 working days per round, and bulk production runs 25–40 days after sample approval and deposit. The fabric, the ruffle, the button shape, the labels and the packaging can all be developed to your own specification, and carton markings and barcodes are produced to your artwork.
